All the staff are fabulous and for such a busy hotel very engaging. A particular shout out for Nicos who is passionate about his work and wants guests to have the best experience possible. We had a premium room, comfortable and quiet with a distant rumble from the nearby DLR. What could make the room better is a bit more shelf space Also for some reason our air con switches off after some time which is okay now but in hotter weather might be a problem. In fairness I haven’t reported it so might just be our room. Good breakfast frequently refreshed and great room rate. Easy access into London, DLR to Bank and Central Line to central London also really easy access to ABBA voyage. We took the Uber ferry to Greenwich. The area is well worth a visit.
Superb stay at this well located Premier inn. We were able to walk to the Troubadour Theatre, to see The Hunger Games, and got the DLR to the ABBA Arena. Easy to explore Canary Whalf and Limehouse on foot. The hotel was very busy (half term) but the staff went out of their way to be welcoming and accommodating. Particularly impressed with Revan(spelling?) on reception, who help us with recommending food places on Sunday evening & booked us in for breakfast at the Inn, and the hard working Nicolas & Marina in the restaurant - who were kind enough to bring me freshly cooked vegan sausages and facon each morning. Stayed here for one night to save hassle getting a train home after an event. Location is perfect - the nearest tube is only a minute walk away. You are also only 10 mins from canary wharf so easy access to other parts of London. There is a lift available to get to the platforms if you cant take the stairs. This was so handy as I've currently got a bad knee. Our room was great, had all the usual bits you get with a Premier Inn - double bed, tea/coffee, extra pillows. The room was fresh and decor was nice. Temperature was good too, not too hot or cold. We didnt touch the heating or air con as didnt need too. Service was great too! The guy on reception was really helpful checking us in. The bar seemed to be open all night which was great as we had a few drinks before going out and when we got back. Love there is always a vending machine for those late night snacks! Would definitely stay here again.
the staff were very helpful and pleasant. Room was too hot, even with the fan provided by the staff. Air con doesn’t go below 19degrees, it’s a shame as this was the only negative. The DLR stop is right outside the door which was very handy travelling with 2 children! Even the walk to Canary Wharf was only 10/15 mins (with 2 kids, would be quicker if we were just adults) Very handy base for our London travels!
I picked this hotel for 2 reasons, really great deal for staying in London and closeness to dlr for Abba arena. Everything was exceptional from greeting at reception to checking out. We had a great deal, premier plus room, city view, free wifi, not the best, and free breakfast. The room was spotlessly clean, had a fridge with complimentary water and small chocolates. My only fault with room was a leaky shower but everything else was great. Breakfast was delicious, freshly cooked buffett style hot food, pastries, cereal and fruit. Staff at breakfast were very friendly and efficient. Really easy to get around as West ferry dlr station is literally on the doorstep. Wouldn't hesitate to book this hotel again.
Really well located Premier Inn. Right next to Westferry DLR which links nicely to the underground at Canary Wharf. Easy for events at O2. Also went up to Westfield Stratford for a day's shopping rather than central London which again was dead easy. Feels like a new Premier Inn. Really good breakfast - sometimes this can be hit or miss at Premier Inn but this was one of the best! Left us some biscuits and chocolates in our family room which was a nice touch that the kids loved!! Will definitely use again if this end of town.
One of the best premier inns we've stayed in. Busy Christmas period but all staff extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast is what you'd expect but all good quality. Coffee machine was good. Think I recognised staff member who was previously at your Greenwich branch - she is so lovely! Great to be next to DLR, and only took around 15 mins from central London. Would definitely recommend.
Stayed one night on the top (26th) floor with a dazzling view towards Canary Wharf. Paid a little extra in advance for the premium WiFi and coffee machine and had no problems working in the room. The night was silent, the bed comfortable, and there are plenty of eateries in the neighborhood.
